“It was beautiful just yesterday, but, oh wow, how things have changed.” Yes, the sun may be shining outside, but don’t be fooled – our favourite new weather girls are predicting 100% rain.
Following the recent release of their futuristic rave visuals for “Rain On Me”, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are back, this time embodying “The Chromatica Weather Girls”.
In a comedic clip in partnership with the Weather Channel, the pair are seen in their respective houses battling a torrential downpour of rain underneath umbrellas (with the source of the water later revealed to be co-workers with hoses).
Gaga reports from her LA home in a latex get-up, telling us: “”While some are complaining about the recent downpour, we would like to celebrate the rain… the world is rising up in a massive act of kindness to celebrate the rain the world so desperately needs to quench the thirst of the earth.” Grande chimes in from her Beverly Hills mansion: “Rain on me, tsunami! Water like misery but the people are still going.”
The weather update comes just ahead of Chromatica, Gaga’s highly anticipated album release this week.
