And if you feel like your tank of beauty inspiration is running low, we’ve launched a series of quickie beauty tutorials to get the creative juices a-flowing.

The first is our “Rainbow Nation” eye makeup look which takes subtle inspiration from David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust persona.

All you need? Masking tape and your eyeshadow colours of choice.

Start with a fresh base. Next cut thin lines of masking tape and arrange them on your eye crease in a zig-zag motion. Separate the zig-zag into four sections, while dusting an intense pigment onto each section in a diagonal direction from your eye lid until just past your brow bone. Peel off the masking tape strips, et voilà!
